UC San Diego, and 450+ hours of clinical training

My lactation education was completed through UC San Diego, followed by more than 450 hours of hands-on clinical training on the mother-baby floor and in the NICU at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. That clinical time, not just the coursework, is where I learned how differently breastfeeding actually goes for every parent and baby.

I hold advanced training through the Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad masterclass, which lets me assess and support tongue-tie and other oral restrictions many consultants aren't trained to catch.

Before this work

A career built on listening first

Before lactation consulting, I worked in the nonprofit sector supporting young adults with career development. That work taught me the same thing this one does: people need someone to actually listen, then help them find the plan that fits their life.

Whether you're building your family through pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy, queer, trans, or straight, first baby or fifth, the support is the same: evidence-based, unhurried, and built around your actual life rather than a script.

Outside of work

Home, garden, and two kids of my own

I'm a mother of two. When I'm not with clients, I'm usually gardening, baking, reading, or spending time with my own family, the same rhythms of daily life every parent I work with is trying to hold onto.
